I did a series of paintings based on the life of Russian peasants which toured the US and Western Europe for 7 years. Part of the series was of Russian emigrés who fled the former Soviet Union and lived outside of Rome, Italy, as they awaited a new home in the United States. Another portion of the series was done on separate occasions in rural Russia when I documented their lives in paintings and writings.
I do these works from life concurrent with the larger compositions you see in the other collections.
Most of the original paintings in this series are currently held in private collections. Therefore the paintings are available as giclées, and one painting is available in a limited-edition print. Please contact me for more information about any of these works.
